Manufactured by Sawyer Oars in Talent, Oregon, the Summit 5 piece features laminated carbon/fiberglass reinforced Western Red Cedar blades and carbon shaft with lever locking ferrule that provides infinite feather and length adjustment from 210cm to 230cm.
The adjustable length is perfect for switching from flatwater to whitewater and for setting up mid-style tents such as Hyperlite Mountain Gear’s UltaMid series. The Summit blades are have more carbon and a heavier duty layup than many other lightweight carbo paddles so its more durable in shallow rivers.
Note: Paddle should be stored dry in order to prevent the nylon ferrules from binding
